8th Grade Unity Council Gathers 850 Pairs of Shoes for Haiti Earthquake Victims

The 8th grade Unity Council recently organized a shoe drive for the Haiti earthquake victims.
This event was held from January 18-29 in the elementary and middle schools. By the end of the drive, the Unity Council had packed 54 boxes with about 850 pairs of shoes!
Fed Ex donated shipping to the Soles4Souls distribution center, which will then send them off to Haiti.
Thank you Unity Council, elementary and middle school students and staff, and a special thanks to Fed Ex for shipping all those boxes!
