March is Youth Art Month in Nebraska!
To celebrate, Wahoo Elementary students have been displaying their artwork for the public. Two students, fifth grader Matt Dobesh and fourth grader Madilyn Larsen, were chosen to participate in a statewide art exhibit at the State Capitol Rotunda in Lincoln.
Students from across Nebraska and their families were invited to view the artwork at a reception held on March 13.
Locally, six Wahoo Elementary students will have their artwork . . .

Wahoo High School is now able to offer a variety of courses from a consortium of almost 100 high schools and state/community colleges from across Nebraska. These courses are held in the WHS Distance Learning Classroom, where students are able to interact with the instructors and students at all other schools enrolled in the courses.

Armed with a list of ideas and a heart full of compassion, Wahoo Middle School 8th grader Brent Tenopir eagerly jumped into the recent Haiti relief efforts.
